From Fate Department of Safety:
Residents of Fate Spring Meadow and City of Fate,
On 8/31/2019 at approximately 2:48 a.m., Fate DPS units were dispatched to Woodcreek-Fate in reference to suspicious activity. Fate DPS arrived on scene at 2:49 a.m. and immediately conducted a foot pursuit with two male subjects.
On behalf of the Fate Department of Public Safety, we would like to thank the Rockwall Police Department and the Rockwall County Sheriff’s Office with their assistance in locating the two male subjects.
These subjects were taken into custody and have been charged with Burglary of Vehicle and Evading Arrest Detention. There is an ongoing investigation and further charges may come pending its completion.
I can personally tell you that the men and women of Fate DPS and surroundings agencies have worked diligently to ensure that our community is safe. I would like to thank you for flooding us with video surveillance footage and any information that you may have had. Please continue to inform us if you see any suspicious activity/persons.
