Steven Lawrence Power, age 53, of Wills Point, TX, passed away suddenly on August 5, 2019. He was born on October 10, 1965, in Monterey, CA, to Tsutako Kusakawa. He married his best friend Autumn Suzanne Hall on April 1, 1998, and together they raised three children. Steven retired from TX Dot on August 1, 2018, after 33 years. He loved going to the beach, listening to music, and spending time with Autumn, his kids, and his grandbabies.
Steven is survived by his loving wife: Autumn Power; children: Thomas Hannah, Kaitlyn Hall, and Chase Power; grandchildren: Cason Hannah, Presley Power, and a grandchild due in February 2020; brother: Albert White and wife Kathy; sister: Linda White; mother and father-in-law: Susan and Ron Hall; sister-in-law: Sara Hall; brother-in-law: Ronnie Hall; nieces and nephews: Eric Wilson, Les White, Christi Robertson, Noah Lovell, Nolan Hall, and Cheyenne Hall; and many great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother: Tsutako (Kusakawa) Power White; and his grandmother-in-law: Mercedese Utley.
A celebration of Steven’s life will be held from 2:30 to 5:00 pm at the Garden Event Center, 819 W. Moore Ave, Terrell, TX, 75160.
