Jeffrey “Chief” Moore Obituary

Jeffrey “Chief” Moore, 53 of Royse City was born on October 20, 1965, in Madison, WI to Gerald R. Moore and Jean Ann Cartwright Moore. He died at his home on September 22, 2019.

Chief was very proud to have served his country in the US Navy. Among the many things he loved in life were his family, Pittsburg Steelers, his worker’s Union, Kid Rock, watching westerns, camping, fishing, and Ford Mustangs. He loved entertaining with family and friends at any opportunity. He was known to hook up to his boat and pickup neighborhood kids and head to the lake. Jeffrey was a very loving, kind and extremely generous person known for his witty sense of humor. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome and genuinely loved a houseful of people.

Surviving are his daughter, Megan Moore and husband Brennan Moore; son Jeffrey Moore; 2 grandchildren, Wyatt and Lillian Moore; parents, Gerald and Jean Moore; sister, Monica Magras and husband, John; brother, Scott Moore and wife, Linda; nephew, Connor Magras; niece, Aleea Magras; aunt, Judith Napier; girlfriend, Gloria Landry; and Jeffrey’s mother, Shelly Renkema. Also surviving Jeffrey is his beloved dog and companion Mia.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019, at 4:00 pm at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location with Pastor John Lee officiating. A Gathering for family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the funeral home.
