Martin “Marty” Hunt, age 52, and long-time resident of Rockwall passed away on September 20, 2019. He was born April 17, 1967, in Offutt Air Force Base, NE, to Connie Hunt and Lee McMurray. Marty was an electrician. He loved fishing, baseball, football, and he coached little league. He was a loving father and he had a big heart for animals. He will be missed deeply.
Marty is survived by his mother: Connie Hunt of Rockwall, TX; father: Lee McMurray of Omaha, NE; son: Martin Hunt, Jr. of Rockwall, TX; grandfather: D. Armstrong of Rockwall, TX; aunt: Rene Pegel of Rockwall, TX; and his two dogs: Patch and Marlee. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers: Linda Armstrong and Bernice Pegel; and grandfather: Howard Pegel.
A celebration of life will be held 4:00 pm Tuesday, October 1, 2019, officiated by pastor Phil Alford.
