Gary Dale Waller Obituary

Gary Dale Waller, 70, of Heath, TX was born January 11, 1949 in Dallas to William Clay Waller and Melba Jones Waller. Gary passed away on October 22, 2019.

Gary graduated in 1967 from W.W. Samuell High School and later earned his Associates Degree in Applied Sciences. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force as a radio technician during the Vietnam War. After the military, he gave 40 years of dedicated service to Oncor Electric, where he would meet many of his closest friends. In 1971, Gary married his forever best friend and wife, Dianna, and later became a devoted father to 3 children. His greatest joys included watching his children and grandchildren compete in their various activities. He could always be spotted at the top row of any event. He also had a love for classic cars and participating in car shows, many of which he left victoriously. Gary was a problem-solver and found joy in using those abilities to help many friends and family tackle any project at a moment’s notice. He was kind, selfless, loyal, compassionate and funny and will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Dianna Waller, 3 children: Clay Waller and wife Robyn, Jeff Waller and Racheal and Julee Waller and wife Jennifer and Christal Waller; 7 grandchildren: Preston Waller, Tatum Waller, Jayden White, Sydney Waller, Avery White, Rhys Waller and Sloane Waller; his mother, Melba Blair; brother, David Waller; sisters, Becky Crossland and Darlene Vasquez.
