The Williams MS PALS students recently participated in a Pay it Forward project where Mrs. Helmer, the PALS teacher, gave each PAL $1. They had two weeks to make their dollar grow.
Laci Larsen raised the most amount of money for this project at $721. She sold handmade greeting cards as well as hosted a Joe Willy’s fundraiser. Velani Thompson and Garrett Savage both raised over $300 each. Velani raffled off fall baskets and Garrett sold jean passes to the faculty at Nebbie ES.
They plan to use the money raised this year to recognize the Williams MS custodians, help with a Christmas toy drive and donate toward local families in need.
