Jeffrey “Bump” Bramblett Obituary

Jeffrey “Bump” Bramblett, a longtime resident of DFW and 5-year resident of Heath, TX, passed away December 13, 2019, at the age of 67. He was born on February 21, 1952, in Denison, TX, to Virgil Milton Bramblett and Bernice Faye (Follis) Bramblett. He was saved as a Christian in 2014, was a member of First Baptist Church of Dallas and more recently joined Poetry Baptist Church of Poetry, TX. At the age of 12, he started working with his step-father in the siding business which began the development of a strong work ethic within him. As an entrepreneur and inventor, he started Bumper Man Inc. in 1993. That same year he met his wife, Tanya, in Dallas and they later married in Hawaii in 1996. “Bump” enjoyed hunting, fishing, billiards and doing things on the farm. He loved tractors, cars, technology, dogs and horses and a good joke. More than anything he dearly loved and adored his family and his church. He was extremely loyal and would do anything for his friends and family.

Jeffrey is survived by his loving wife: Tanya Bramblett of Heath, TX; daughter: Jennifer Curtis of Minnesota; sons: Jeff Bramblett, Jr. of Florida, Jason Bramblett of Forney, TX, Kyle Wolery and wife Emely of Forney, TX; grandchildren: Lance Bramblett, Alisa, Kyle Bramblett, Victoria Rickel, Zachary Bramblett, Elizabeth Bramblett, Alayna Bramblett, Kai Wolery, and Miranda Wolery; great-grandchildren: Liam Bramblett and Lyla Bramblett; sisters: Barbara Faye Gaither of Denison, TX, and Linda Kay Chritton and husband Dennis of Missouri; sister-in-law: Dawn Witcher of Denison, TX; multiple loving nieces and nephews; and good friends: Walt Anderson, Jimmie Anderson, Alan Lynch, Ronnie DeFord, John Copeland, Jack Copeland, Nick Vitale, and Kenny Carver. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers: Daniel Wayne Witcher and Benjamin Lee Witcher.

Jeffrey sincerely appreciated the hard work and dedication of all Bumper Man employees and franchisees.

All are welcome to Memorial Services that will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at First Baptist Church of Dallas, 1707 San Jacinto St, Dallas, TX, 75201. A Private Graveside Service for family only will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
