Marshall Clifford Isaacs Obituary

It is with great sadness and yet in the same breath beautiful rejoicing of ultimate healing, that Marshall Clifford Isaacs, age 77, of Garland, TX, was called home to eternity December 2nd, 2019. He was born March 1, 1942, in Fort Wayne, IN, to Marshall and Geneva Isaacs. Cliff was a financial advisor in the insurance industry. “Pop-Pop”, affectionately named by his grandchildren, is now worshipping and dancing with Jesus. There is no doubt Andy, his son, was waiting with open arms to greet him. The Bible talks about, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. The most beautiful sight was when your broken body became whole again. The song, “I can only imagine” gives beautiful imagery of what he is experiencing. I can only imagine, what your days would be like! Surrounded by God’s glory.

Dad, you were and will forever be loved. Alzheimer’s was a disease that ultimately broke you, but it also softened a once hurt man to a man filled with kindness, tenderness, and expressive love. We were so honored to drape the American flag over you and honor you for your service to your resting place.

He is survived by his loving wife: Deborah Ann (Fenimore) Isaacs; daughters: Laurie LaFon and husband Jason, and Heather Weaver and husband David; and grandchildren: Blayre Weaver, Christian Weaver, Ashley-Grace Weaver, Alexandra “Lexi” LaFon, Madeleine LaFon, Victoria LaFon, and Gage LaFon. He was preceded in death by his son: Marshall Clifford Andrew “Andy” Isaacs II; and his parents.

He will be deeply missed by everyone who loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, December 9, 2019, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Sunday evening from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
