Frances Joe Samples, age 70, a longtime resident of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, passed away July 24, 2022. She was born November 3, 1951, in Garland, TX, to William Lee Brown and Evelyn (Crone) Brown. Frances loved her Dallas Cowboys, and enjoying watching wrestling and car racing, especially when her son-in-law was racing. Frances dearly loved her grandkids and enjoyed every moment with them.
She is survived by her daughters: Virginia Davis and husband Steven, and Lois Ewing and husband Bobby; son: Roy Samples; brother: William Lee Brown, Jr.; sisters: Evelyn McCurley, and Stella Boecker and husband Kenneth; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one on the way. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband: John Clifford Samples; her parents; and brothers: Thomas F. Brown and Alfred Leon Brown.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00am, Monday, August 1, 2022, in Rest Haven Memorial Park with Pastor Stew Foster officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday afternoon at The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location from 2:00 to 5:00pm.
