Clifford Bruce Haney

Clifford Bruce Haney, 45, passed from this life on August 13, 2022. Clifford was born on February 6, 1977, to Robert Eugene Haney and Nedra Kay (McKeehen) Haney, in Irving, Texas.

Clifford was a loving dad, son, brother, grandson, uncle, cousin, fiancé, and friend. He grew up as a mighty bulldog in Royse City, and later in life, was able to serve Rockwall County as a Fireman over the years. It was his lifelong dream to be a hero, and he achieved this with flying colors! He was a handsome fun-loving jokester, and kept his loved ones laughing because he could find humor in the most mundane life circumstances. He had a way of making everyone feel special, and he loved helping people. He enjoyed the outdoors, animals, slow dancing, and being a “Mr. Fix It”. If Clifford’s life could be summed up to one sentence, it would be, “Serve Proudly, and Never Give Up!”. Clifford Bruce Haney will be greatly missed, and our hearts are broken, but it brings us great comfort to know he is with Jesus, and his sweet Mama!

Clifford leaves behind to cherish his memory his Fiancé: Shauna Bell; children: Taylor, Christopher, Jackson, Hudson, Weston and Addie Mae; father: Robert E. Haney; sisters: Elizabeth Keeton & Randi Parks; nieces and nephews: Carson, Dylan and Jaycee; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins who will all miss him dearly.

A celebration of Clifford’s life is to be held on Monday, August 22, 2022, beginning at 10:00 AM at Lakepointe Church – Rockwall campus, with Pastor Jeff Hays officiating.

In addition to flowers, the family requests that donations be made to “Fire In Texas”, a scholarship in Cliff’s name. Any of those donations can be delivered to Fate Fire Department.

Clifford was an Organ Donor & was able to save 2 lives & provide that blessing to those recipients & their families. If you are not an organ donor we encourage you to become one
